This is a Humanities Press 'second edition with Supplementary Chapter.' Pale maroon cloth boards which are slightly faded and marked in places; top right hand corner (front board) is chipped. Head and tail of spine slightly curled; with gilt titles set against a black label. All three book block edges show some spotting. The binding remains tight. The pages are mildly tanned although some of the spotting from the book's edges has continued onto the margins of the preliminary and final pages. pp. xii, 440. 8vo.
