Quarto, 208 pages, illus. Bound in green cloth boards. Some pages have the stamp of The Oxford & District Society of Model & Experimental Engineers, covers slighty worn but otherwise VG. "Railways" was a magazine founded in 1940, during the 2nd World War. From somewhere it obtained supplies of excellent paper and pursued a lively editorial policy with articles on many railways, such as the Padarn and the LoR not covered elsewhere.
