nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - RESIST THE DEVIL invites readers to see the Christian life as more than a struggle to avoid sin. It is a race of faith that must be run with endurance, wisdom, and a clear focus on Christ.Beginning with James 4:7, this book places submission to God at the foundation of spiritual victory. Readers are guided through the patterns of deception, the temptation of Jesus, life under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the importance of Scripture, self-control, spiritual gifts, discernment, and the need to guard the heart against compromise. The book also explores an essential biblical distinction: there are times to stand and resist, and there are times to flee. Believers are called to resist the devil, but Scripture also commands them to flee from sin, sexual immorality, and destructive desires. Spiritual maturity includes knowing the difference. From there, the journey continues through the full armor of God, the obstacles of the Christian race, the call to bear lasting fruit, and the importance of remaining faithful to the finish. This is not a book that places the devil at the center of the Christian life. Its focus is Christ. The goal is to help believers become more rooted in truth, more discerning about temptation, more responsible in their choices, more sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and more faithful in completing the calling God has entrusted to them. The Christian life is not only about refusing to fall. It is about moving forward, bearing fruit, and finishing the race with faith intact.…

RESIST THE DEVIL invites readers to see the Christian life as more than a struggle to avoid sin. It is a race of faith that must be run with endurance, wisdom, and a clear focus on Christ.
Beginning with James 4:7, this book places submission to God at the foundation of spiritual victory.
It is about moving forward, bearing fruit, and finishing the race with faith intact.
