Descripción del artículo del vendedor

This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -This monograph studies an important generalisation ofthe Cauchy integral formula, called the Dbar formula. In particular, it investigates the physical significance of this formula, its extensionto three, four and higher dimensions and theapplications of the relevant formalism to:(i) The solution of boundary value problems forlinear partial differential equations ;(ii) The evaluation of real integrals;(iii) The construction of nonlinear integrableequations starting from the corresponding linearequations.A large part of this monograph is devoted to thetheory of quaternions. It is shown that quaternionsprovide the proper generalisation of complex numbers. The book offers a pedagogical introduction to thetheory of quaternions and attempts to elucidate itsanalytic component. Also, it presents some novelapplications of this theory. This monograph will be useful to readers interestedin the theory and applications of quaternions fromthe point of view of analysis as well as to everyoneinterested in explicit solutions of boundary valueproblems for partial differential equations. 120 pp. Englisch.…
