What if consciousness is connected to reality in a way we have not yet learned how to understand?
What consciousness really is? Is it simply what the brain does? Is subjective experience an extraordinary biological phenomenon, or does it point toward something deeper in the structure of reality? And why should a collection of physical processes give rise to the private experience of being alive — of seeing, feeling, remembering, loving, suffering, and knowing that we exist?
Today, one word has entered this ancient question with extraordinary force: quantum.
Quantum physics has revealed a universe stranger than classical intuition ever imagined. Superposition, entanglement, measurement, probability and quantum fields have forced us to abandon many assumptions about how reality should behave. At the same time, consciousness remains one of the greatest unsolved problems in science.
THE QUANTUM CONSCIOUSNESS investigates the territory where quantum physics, neuroscience, philosophy of mind, qualia, spirituality and the ancient idea of the soul begin to overlap. It does not begin by assuming that quantum mechanics has already explained consciousness. Instead, it asks a more interesting question: how far can we actually go before the evidence runs out?
What are superposition and entanglement? What does measurement really mean? What is the observer problem? And why has the word observer acquired such extraordinary power in popular discussions of consciousness?
From there, the investigation enters the mystery of subjective experience. We can measure neural activity, map brain regions and describe increasingly sophisticated biological processes, but none of this makes the first-person character of experience disappear. You do not merely process wavelengths; you see red. You do not merely receive chemical signals; you taste. You do not merely register tissue damage; you feel pain. This is the problem of qualia: the fact that there is something it feels like to be conscious.
Roger Penrose has challenged the possibility that human understanding can simply be reduced to computation. Stuart Hameroff has proposed that microtubules inside neurons could play a role in quantum processes associated with consciousness through the controversial Orch-OR hypothesis. Giulio Tononi has developed Integrated Information Theory in an attempt to understand consciousness through the structure of integrated information. Antonio Damasio has approached the problem from the opposite direction, bringing the body, homeostasis, feelings and the biological construction of the self back to the centre of the discussion.
A scientific hypothesis concerning consciousness can become an argument for an immortal soul. And once that happens, the boundary between science and metaphysics becomes remarkably easy to explore.
We want consciousness to mean something. We want to understand why we experience anything at all. We want to know whether death is the end. We want to believe that mind and matter are connected in some deeper way. We want the universe to make sense.
That distinction becomes particularly important when quantum language enters discussions of the soul, healing, manifestation, immortality and cosmic consciousness. The questions themselves are legitimate. What deserves examination is the evidence used to answer them.

Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
