The Hound. The Guard. The Poster Boy.
Vincent Harrow buried six girls. Since then, he’s failed dozens more. His newest assignment should be just another file. Instead, she’s one coincidence away from driving him mad. All the evidence points toward the impossible, and every thread seems to lead back to the girl who should be long gone. For the first time in his life, Vincent may be wishing he wasn’t so good at his job.
Colt West knows when to keep his mouth shut. At least, he used to. The work of an enforcer isn’t honorable, but morality doesn’t keep the lights on back home. Even the smallest slipups come with a cost, and Colt knows he won’t be the only one forced to pay it. Unfortunately, every time Maysie walks into the room, he forgets that his life depends on controlling hers.
Maverick Ashford had a plan for his future. Babysitting unstable teenage girls was not part of it. His “temporary” assignment has gone on far too long, and he’s sick and tired of pretending otherwise. His girls are exhausting, and the rules he’s forced to play by are insulting. Maverick will do whatever it takes to reclaim what was always meant to be his, even if it means breaking a few protocols—or people—along the way. After all, Ashfords never lose.
Three boys. Three sides of the program. One girl threatening to unravel them all.
**Note: This novella serves as a companion to Nothing Out There (The Ellington Project Book 1) and should not be read as a standalone story**
