When nineteenth-century Bible professor Edmund Whitaker agrees to witness an experimental time machine, he expects a brief scientific curiosity. Instead, a malfunction thrusts him more than a century into the future—into a world of electric lights, instant knowledge, modern medicine, and spiritual confusion he never imagined.

Struggling to understand a culture both advanced and deeply restless, Whitaker begins teaching again—offering timeless biblical insight to a generation drowning in information but hungry for truth. As his voice spreads across classrooms, churches, and the digital world, he must confront a life-altering question: should he return to the past he lost, or remain where his message is most needed?

The Professor Out of Time is a moving story of faith across generations, reminding readers that while technology changes, the human heart does not—and the Gospel speaks to every century.
