Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Advance Computing and Intelligent Engineering : ICACIE 2022

This book gathers high-quality research papers presented at the 7th International Conference on Advanced Computing and Intelligent Engineering (ICACIE 2022) organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, DRIEMS (Autonomous) Engineering College, Odisha, India, during December 23–24, 2022. It includes sections describing technical advances and the latest research in the fields of computing and intelligent engineering. Intended for graduate students and researchers working in the disciplines of computer science and engineering, the proceedings will also appeal to researchers in the field of electronics, as they cover hardware technologies and future communication technologies.

Dr. Bibudhendu Pati is the Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rama Devi Women's University (Only Govt. Women's University in the state of Odisha, India). He received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. He has around 24 years of experience in teaching and research. His current research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Internet of Things, and Advanced Network Technologies. He has got several papers published in reputed journals, conference proceedings, and books of international repute. He has been serving as the Editor of different conference proceedings. He also served as Guest Editor of reputed journals. He was invited to chair several international conferences. He has been involved in many professional and editorial activities. He is the Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education, Computer Society of India, and Senior Member of IEEE.

Dr. Chhabi Rani Panigrahi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Rama Devi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar, India. Prior to this she was the regular faculty member at Central University of Rajasthan. She received her PhD degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. Her current research interests include software testing, mobile cloud computing, and machine learning. She has more than 21 years of teaching and research experience. She has published several scholarly articles in journals and conferences of international repute. She was invited to organize and chair many international conferences. Dr. Panigrahi is the author of a text book and a few edited books. She is a life member of the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) and a member of IEEE and the Computer Society of India (CSI).

Prof. Prasant Mohapatra is serving as the Vice Chancellor for Research at University of California, Davis. He is also a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and served as the Dean and Vice-Provost of Graduate Studies during 2016-18. He was the Department Chair of Computer Science during 2007-13. In the past, Dr. Mohapatra has also held Visiting Scientist positions at Intel Corporation, Panasonic Technologies, Institute of Infocomm Research (I2R), Singapore, and National ICT Australia (NICTA). Dr. Mohapatra received his doctoral degree from Penn State University in 1993, and received an Outstanding Engineering Alumni Award in 2008. He is also the recipient of Distinguished Alumnus Award from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. Dr. Mohapatra received an Outstanding Research Faculty Award from the College of Engineering at the University of California, Davis. He received the HP Labs Innovation awards in 2011, 2012, and 2013. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and a Fellow of AAAS. Dr. Mohapatra's research interests are in the areas of wireless networks, mobile communications, cyber security, and Internet protocols. He has published more than 350 papers in reputed conferences and journals on these topics. Dr. Mohapatra's research has been funded through grants from the National Science Foundation, US Department of Defense, US Army Research Labs, Intel Corporation, Siemens, Panasonic Technologies, Hewlett Packard, Raytheon, and EMC Corporation.

Prof. Kuan-Ching Li is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at the Providence University, Taiwan. He was the Vice-Dean for Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs (OIA) in this same university since 2014. Prof. Li is recipient of awards from Nvidia, Ministry of Education (MOE)/Taiwan and Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST)/Taiwan, as also guest professorship from different universities in China. He got his PhD from University of Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2001. His areas of research are networked and GPU computing, parallel software design, and performance evaluation and benchmarking. He has edited 2 books: Cloud Computing and Digital Media and Big Data published by CRC Press. He is a Fellow of the IET, senior member of the IEEE and a member of TACC.
