The forest hums with ancient secrets. The village of Sheil stands in their path.
When an eerie, bone-deep drone drifts from the shadowed Veylan Forest, the villagers of Sheil dismiss it with nervous laughter, until the screaming begins.
Captain Balian and a ragtag force of soldiers barely hold the village together as monstrous beasts with elongated faces and antlers descend in waves, tearing through wood and flesh alike. The creatures, known only through whispered legends as the Fen'il, have returned... and they remember.
Far from the battlefield, Sebastian, a fallen prince, wakes wounded and alone, only to find unexpected salvation in Arianna, a reclusive healer with a mysterious legacy. As the two grow closer, they uncover ancient truths buried deep beneath moss and time, truths that could turn the tide of war... or destroy them all.
Together, they must lead a desperate journey through the forest to the mountains, where the key to defeating the Fen'il may lie among forgotten ruins and haunted caves. But time is running out. The hum is rising. And Sheil is dying.
A sweeping epic of courage, forbidden history, and the price of survival, The Prince Commander is perfect for fans of dark fantasy, immersive worldbuilding, and relentless tension.
