"The Priest's Manual" is a comprehensive spiritual and liturgical guide designed specifically for the Catholic clergy. Compiled by Rev. Geo. Porter, S.J., this work serves as a practical and devotional companion for priests in their daily ministry and personal sanctification. It provides structured guidance on the administration of the sacraments, the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and the performance of various ecclesiastical duties with dignity and reverence.

Rooted in the rich tradition of the Society of Jesus, the manual offers meditations, prayers, and rubrics intended to foster a deeper interior life and professional excellence within the priesthood. It addresses both the exterior requirements of the liturgy and the interior spiritual disposition of the celebrant, making it an essential resource for understanding early 20th-century Catholic practice. The text remains a valuable historical document for scholars of religious history and a source of traditional piety for those interested in the liturgical and devotional heritage of the Church. Through its clear instructions and focused spiritual exercises, "The Priest's Manual" illustrates the dedication and discipline expected of those in holy orders during a significant era of ecclesiastical history.
