So, it’s been a year and a little birdie told me peeps are ready to get back to Pretty Beach. Have you got your supplies at the ready? Hop on for the ride and come and make acquaintance with Lotta Button and her fake dating escapades. This is the book where you'll fall head over heels for the heroine – she’s going to be the new best friend you didn’t know you needed.
♥
Arriving at what she has calculated as more or less the middle of her life, things for Lotta Button are not going at all the way she planned. With that thing they call life throwing all the hurdles it can her way as a new year rolls around, she hits rock bottom and wonders how she’s ever going to crawl her way back up.
When she finds herself at yet another family wedding in the lobby of a country house, she bumps into a man, and little does she know, he is going to become quite the feature in her world. He needs a partner for a business deal, and a few little white lies she’s told mean he could help her out too… As Lotta embarks on a fake relationship and the story unfolds before our eyes, what Lotta thought was going to happen in her year doesn’t quite pan out that way at all.
‘Grumpy meets sunshine feels all the way with a slew of new year’s resolutions thrown in for good measure. It had me hooked from paragraph one.’
‘When you fall in love with the heroine by the end of chapter one you know you’re in a Polly book. A deliciously written fake dating trope romantic comedy which will keep you falling deeper in and turning the page late into the night. Loved it.’

In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
