This book describes systematically the theory and technology of the precision forming of large, complex and thin-walled superalloy castings for aircraft engines, covering all the important basic aspects of the manufacturing process, including process design, wax pattern, ceramic molds, casting and solidification, heat treatment, repair casting and dimension precision control.
The correlation of casting defects, structural characteristics and performance of castings is revealed through a range of tests. It also discusses the latest technologies and advances in this field - such as imaging the solidification process by means of synchrotron radiography, 3D computerized tomography and reconstruction of microporosity defects, analysis and diagnosis of error sources for dimension over-tolerance and adjusted pressure casting technology - which are of particular interest. Providing essential insights, the book offers a valuable guide to the design and manufacture of superalloy casting parts for aircraft engines.

Acerca del autor
Baode Sun is Chair Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He received his Ph.D. degree from Northwestern Polytechnic University, China, in 1993. He became “Yangtze River Scholar” Distinguished Professor in 2007 and Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering in 2013. His research is focused on the fundamental and applied aspects of liquid metal processing and investment casting of large-size thin-wall structural components. He has published more than 200 technical papers, and he holds more than 100 Chinese patents. He won numerous prestigious research awards, such as the second prize of the National Technology Invention Award of China and the first prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Invention Award.
Jun Wang is Professor of Materials Processing at SJTU. He received his B.Sc. (1991), M.Sc. (1994) and Ph.D. (1997) at Southeast University. He was Research Fellow in the Venture Business Lab in Saga University and Senior Researcher in the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Tokyo in Japan. His research focuses on investment casting process. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles, and he holds 95 China patents and one US patent. He received a number of awards, including the 2nd prize of the National Technology Invention Award, the New Century Talents of Ministry of Education, China, and Shanghai Excellent Scientific Leader.Da Shu is Professor of Materials Processing at SJTU. He received his B.Sc. (1994) at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and his M.Sc. (1997) and Ph.D. (2001) at SJTU. He was Academic Visitor at the Department of Materials, Oxford University, in 2009–2010. His research focuses on processing of advanced metallic materials and control of solidified structure. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, and he holds 30 China patents and one US patent. He received a number of awards, including the 2ndprize of the National Technology Invention Award, Rising-Star of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the New Century Talents of Ministry of Education, China.

Derecho al desistimiento

Derecho legal de desistimiento
Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a buchversandmimpf2000, Emtmannsberg, BAYE, Germany, +49 09209-2023188, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
