Original brown cloth with gilt lettering on front cover and spine and illustrations of gears in white on front cover. 5 1/4 X 7 3/4 inches. 432 pages with 2 pages of index of tables and 12 pages of index. Copy has 222 black and white illustrations and 4 black and white photographs. Copy also has 40 tables. Head and tail are bumped as are the corners. Small worn spot on back cover.
