Unloved and unwanted, orphan Pollyanna Whittier arrives at her Aunt Polly’s home with nothing but her unshakable optimism. Despite being given a gloomy attic room and a cold reception, Pollyanna refuses to give in to despair. With her infectious spirit and her famous “Glad Game,” she transforms her punishments into blessings and gradually wins over the hearts of the entire town. But when tragedy strikes and Pollyanna herself faces a test of faith, even her boundless cheerfulness is shaken—until love and long-held secrets bring healing and hope.

The story continues in Pollyanna Grows Up, the delightful sequel to Eleanor H. Porter’s classic. Fully recovered from her accident, Pollyanna travels to Boston, where she brightens the life of the lonely and embittered Mrs. Carew. With warmth, charm, and steadfast optimism, Pollyanna once again proves that joy can heal even the most broken hearts.

This cherished duology celebrates resilience, kindness, and the power of optimism, offering readers of all ages timeless lessons in love and hope.
