Revised and enlarged second edition. Half calf leather binding with marbled boards. Spine with four raised bands and diced compartments. Red speckled page edges. Rubbing to boards and ends of spine. Slight wear to corners. Good solid binding with no cracking to joints. Complete with all six engraved plates. Foxing to plates. Light foxing to pages facing plates, text is otherwise very clean throughout. Two previous owner bookplates to front endpaper, including Whig politician Edward Wynne-Pendarves. Overall condition is Very Good Minus. Please Note: This is a heavy item and international postage will be more than the standard rate for non-European destinations.
