Brandi Barnes is a heroic single mom and editorial writer who has exposed a child trafficking ring. Cody Musket is a troubled former US Marine pilot who carries deep scars in his body and soul. He saves her from the traffickers, but can she save him from himself? The military secrets he carries are slowly killing him. She must risk her life to save the only man she has ever loved. A story of honor, courageous love and finding faith.

James N. Miller has been described as a realist, comic, writer, and entrepreneur. He’s a Texan without the boots, a Christian without the religion, and well-educated without the excess schooling. One of his favorite phrases — “Never let school get in the way of your education.” He has founded two aircraft refinishing companies and has logged 8000 hours as a pilot. A list of former business clients includes Tom Cruise, Kurt Russell, Apollo Astronauts Frank Borman and Wm. Anders, and George Strait among others. He loves to say, “I’m not a therapist, but a good listener.” Over four decades he has listened to the stories of courageous US war veterans who have struggled to acclimate upon returning from battlefields across the world. As an author, he has written their stories into a thrilling tribute, a historical fiction novel about the progress of a heroic pilgrim named Cody Musket, and about the woman who has saved her love — and her tears — for him.
