Hardcover. Pip loves to look after his friends - so when a big, sleepy toad eyes a tiny ladybug for a snack, Pip puffs himself up as BIG and loud as he can to scare it away. But the toad doesn't budge! Then the little ladybug simply stands tall and opens her bright red, spotted armor wide - and off the toad hops. Aeva shows Pip the secret: you don't have to be big to keep yourself safe - just brave, and sure of what you've got. And because one small, confident helper was there, the whole rosebush bursts into bloom.Pip and the Little Ladybug is the sixth book in Aeva's Little Wonders - a series of gentle, read-aloud picture books for ages 3-5, where every story grows one warm, big-hearted lesson. With a soothing rhythm, a sing-along refrain little ones will chant again and again, and richly detailed art, it's a joyful lesson in confidence, self-worth, and knowing that even someone very small can do brave and important things.Inside you'll also find the parent-loved extras that make the series special: a real-animal facts page, a Confidence Checklist for the week, talk-about-it questions, and a QR code for a free printable coloring page.A warm story about confidence and self-worth - and how being small and sure of yourself is its own kind of strong.
