Shipping Terms – Desert Grace Booksellers
- Order Processing & Handling
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days after payment is received.
We take great care in packaging to ensure books arrive in the condition described.
- Packaging & Protection
All books are wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve to prevent moisture damage.
Rigid cardboard mailers or boxes are used to prevent bending or damage.
Additional padding, such as kraft paper or bubble wrap, is used for fragile or high-value books.
- Domestic Shipping (USA)
We offer the following shipping methods:
USPS Media Mail (2-10 business days) – Most economical for books.
USPS Priority Mail (1-3 business days) – Faster, includes tracking and insurance up to $100.
UPS Ground or FedEx Ground – Available for bulk orders or heavier shipments.
Weight Considerations:
Shipping rates are based on an average book weight of 2 lbs.
Additional charges may apply for heavier books or multi-book orders.
- International Shipping
We ship internationally via USPS First-Class Package International (for books under 4 lbs) or USPS Priority Mail International (for heavier books).
Delivery times vary by destination but typically range from 7-21 business days.
Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees imposed by their country.
- Insurance & Liability
Insurance is included for Priority Mail shipments (up to $100).
Media Mail and First-Class International shipments do not include insurance unless the buyer requests and pays for additional coverage.
Desert Grace Booksellers is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once they are in the carrier’s possession.
- Shipping Restrictions
We do not ship to PO Boxes for UPS or FedEx shipments.
