This copy comes with an old, full page, press cutting on 2 sides "My life with Picasso" by Francoise Gilot, Mother of his 2 children. Some even tanning to cover. 2 small creases in bottom fore corner of cover. No inscriptions. Binding fragile with some pages secured with small pieces of tape in spine margins. Soft cover. Condición: Fair. First Edition. Ex-Library Copy of Cahiers D'Art from January, 1936. Titled 'Picasso 1930-1935" on the title page. Rebound in hardcovers with the original covers intact. The Color Picasso Lithograph is present and clean. The page with the photo of Picasso by Man Ray has a College Library Ink stamp to the margins, not effecting the tipped-in photo. Several pages have long cuts, some have portions cut out. And at least one B & W illustration at the rear has been removed, and likely some other pages as well. Some Library ink stamps at the beginning and end. Scarce and desireable because for the Color Picasso Litho which is present here and clean. Otherwise, a pretty ragged example!
