David Jones taught all levels of high school physics for 19 years in the Miami Dade County Public School system. Currently, he is teaching Physics I and II at Florida International University. Mr. Jones graduated from the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y. with a BA in Physics. He has served as an AP Physics Reader and an AP Physics Workshop Consultant for the College Board.
Mr. Jones was named Miami Dade County Science Teacher of the Year in 1996 and again, in 2006. Along with his teaching responsibilities, he is an assistant coach for the U.S. Physics Olympiad Team, which represents the United States at the annual International Physics Olympiad Competition.
