Oregon resident Greg Vaughn can't imagine a more rewarding occupation than combining photography with his love of travel and nature.For over thirty years he has wandered back roads and backcountry, mountains, valleys, beaches, deserts and islands, capturing images to share the beauty of nature and the wonders of the world.Greg's photos regularly appear in travel-oriented magazines such as National Geographic Traveler, Backpacker, VIA, Travel Oregon and Islands. He has worked with a number of calendar and book publishing companies and he is the sole or principal photographer for several books in the Compass American Guides series of travel handbooks. His stock photography is distributed worldwide through agents Getty Images, Alamy, Viewfinders NW and Pacific Stock.Greg is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), and the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW). His photography has won several awards, including honors from PRINT Magazine, the Hawaii Visitors Bureau and the Society of American Travel Writers.
