Print on Demand. This book posits that the soul is the center of consciousness and the source of human life's false procedure of reason. The author argues that philosophy has lost sight of its true object, leaving it ignorant of much that it ought to know. Within the text, there are three main arguments: that philosophy should be based on a foundation of life, not reason alone; that the soul as the center of the moral life is capable of and responsible for love; and that the soul shares in knowledge and revelation. These arguments are supported by a fascinating exploration of topics in philosophy and life, including the division of ranks, the relation of states to the Christian idea of jurisprudence, and even the relation of nature to the invisible world. The author's insights will fascinate and challenge readers who seek to engage with the deepest questions of life, faith, and the nature of consciousness. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
