Acerca del autor
Michael Miloro, DMD, MD, FACS, is Professor and Departmental Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Miloro is a Diplomate of, and past-Examiner for, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Faculty Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Miloro has major clinical and research interests in orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, implant surgery, and trigeminal nerve injuries and reconstruction. Dr. Miloro has lectured nationally and internationally on many subjects, and has been the recipient of a number of honors and awards. Dr. Miloro has published extensively in the medical and dental literature with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. Dr. Miloro currently serves as the Section Editor of the Journal of Oraland Maxillofacial Surgery, and is Editor of three major textbooks including Peterson's Principles of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Management of Complications in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Trigeminal Nerve Injuries.
G. E. Ghali, DDS, MD, FACS, FRCS(Ed), is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport, where he is also Chancellor and holds the Jack W. Gamble Chair in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Ghali is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the American College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has served on various national professional committees and is a past president of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Ghali is an editorial board member for the Journal of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Cases. He has authored 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, as well as, many book chapters. In 2012 Dr. Ghali received the Robert V. Walker Distinguished Service Award from AAOMS.
Peter E. Larsen, DDS, FACS, is chair of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesiology at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Columbus, Ohio, where he holds the Larry J. Peterson Endowed Professorship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has also been Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital of Columbus since 1995. Dr. Larsen is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a past president of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Larsen served on the editorial board of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology, and Endodontology from 1993 to 2017 and was editor in chief of the journal in 2002–3. He has also been an editorial board member for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is the author of numerous journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Larsen was the recipient of the 2019 Donald B. Osbon Award for Outstanding Educator.
Peter D. Waite, MPH, DDS, MD, FACS, is professor and former chairman for 27years of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama Medicine/Dentistry and currently holds the Charles A McCallum endowed chair of OMS. He received his MPH and DDS from the University of Minnesota, and went on to UAB school of Medicine for advanced training. He enjoys a very busy faculty practice and teaches medical/dental students and residents. Dr Waite directs an advanced fellowship program in Orthognathic and Cosmetic surgery. He performs surgery at the University of Alabama Hospital, Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital and Children’s of Alabama and is a senior scientist at the UAB Minority Health & Health Disparities Research Center and a consultant at the UAB Sleep/Wake Disorders Center, Cleft Craniofacial Disorder Center. Dr. Waite is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Royal College of Dentists, American College of Dentists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He is past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and president of the South Eastern Society of OMS. Dr Waite was the first recipient of the Fred Heney Award from the AAOMS Educational Foundation. He is a recipient of the 2013 William Gies Award in OMS, 2015 Donald B Osbon Award, and 2020 Dan Laskin Award. Dr Waite is Internationally recognized for his expertise in Orthognathic surgery, cosmetic surgery, OSA, and cleft craniofacial surgery. Dr. Waite has given many lectures and surgical demonstrations around the world. He is the author of more than 125 articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.

El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).

Efectos del desistimiento

El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
