Performance Evaluation of Regional Rural Banks - A Study of APGVB | Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank

Rural banking institutions are playing a very important role for all-round development of rural areas of the country. In order to support the rural banking sector in recent years, Regional Rural Banks have been set up all over the country with the objective of meeting the credit needs of the most under privileged sections of the society. This book is aimed to study the operational, financial performance and perception of beneficiaries and bank employees about working of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank. Financial performance of the bank is measured through CAMEL Model which is analytical and empirical in the nature and finally made suggestions for sound and effective financial functioning. The study, made the valuable conclusions based on analytical approach and which would throw some light on bunch of gains for making sound decisions, managerial performance and summary of conclusions and suggestions.
