Pearls of Gold is a collection of many of the authors poems, Verna Hall Linzey. There is a rhythm, a cadence, or a drum beat in each line of each poem, converging with the meaning of the author's words. The synergy created by these poems will impact the reader's life, potentially creating a change in readers' perceptions of the meaning of their own lives. Each poem presents a window to the world through the lens of the author, giving readers a view of the world other than their own, to see life in a way never before perceived. Life is sometimes bigger than one perceives it to be. The words of these poems broaden that vision, taking the reader back to a time when goodness prevailed, showing the reader that it is still within his or her reach. All the reader must do is take hold of it and make it real today in his or her own life. Each poem is like a pearl of gold that is sure to enrich the reader's life.
