“This is the RV. It’s your new home. ”
“Why me?”
“Because I can’t see, and you were an ad in a paper.”
“What?”
“Because I cannot see the world around us, you were chosen. The Babes were about to buy some other dog from a store when some little girl walked in and said she wanted what Delux was holding. He gave the little girl the puppy, and then we went to your mom’s house, and found you instead. You were not wanted by your people, and I didn’t want to kill you when we arrived so it’s probably destiny. I absolutely hate Rottweilers, so you’re welcome.”
Testimonial:
“(This) story is romance, friendship and family, loyalty, bravery, love and trust, being creative and open, and being a good human and allowing ourselves to love even when it hurts—plus, honestly, a million more—all readers will be able to identify with this.” ~Editor~
“The storytelling is masterful with an urgency that keeps you hooked even in the quieter moments. You can’t help but root for the main characters-they’re so lovable and inspiring. You’ll laugh from your gut, cry from your heart, and feel every emotion in between as you follow their journey.” ~Reader~
"Paws To Prophecies, is an incredible read from start to finish. It takes you on an unforgettable journey, letting you experience the world through the eyes of a dog. The way the author captures the dog's thoughts, feelings, movements , and life is so vivid and heartfelt that you find yourself fully immersed in their perspective." ~Reader~
Authors Notes:
One day someone told me to write my story and I told them they were crazy. I was only 30 and still alive.. who does that? One day while everything was falling apart in life, my mom then sent me the book, Marley and Me... then my cousin sent me the book, The Art of Racing in the Rain... Both books were great, but then I looked at my dog and realized he has a way cooler story spending the first 5 years of his life in a RV with me, a woman, and a blind Pitbull, so I wrote his story. Once complete, I deleted it. The ones who cared about me were upset and convinced me to write it again, so I did, and I failed. I tried again, and again, only to loose the story because of a faulty laptop and no backups. I tried again and as soon as I finished, the laptop crashed and never turned back on and I was not living where there are computer repair places. I found a new slightly used laptop on Amazon, bought it, someone brought it down to me, and I was finally able to re-write this story a 6th time, only this time, from the dogs perspective. Enjoy the story of a dog named Doofus.
Thank you for your time and support!

Descripción de la tienda
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
