Paperback. Developing the right money mindset to live happily, securely and longer. We all strive for a beautiful life. A life full of joy, meaning and personal fulfilment. We seek moments of happiness, enriching relationships and fulfilling activities. At the same time, we want stability and security. However, the fact is: we also live in a world that's constantly and rapidly changing due to technological advances, socioeconomic changes and global events. That makes life and financial planning tough. And to further complicate matters, we are living longer and healthier lives! The 100-year life is very much a reality today. How do we make better decisions for our financial and life planning? How much money should we earn? And how much should we spend and save? But money, whilst important, is not enough for a successful 100-year life in today's unpredictable world. As well as developing the right money mindset, the author argues we need to understand what our beliefs and emotions lead us to, what brings us joy and purpose, if we are to make better life decisions and use money to enable that life. AUTHOR: Thomas Mathar is an internationally experienced customer and behaviour researcher. He leads initiatives at Aegon's Centre for Behavioural Research that help people make better long-term decisions. He is based in Scotland. SELLING POINTS: . Every money move you make today shapes your future. Whether you’re spending, earning or saving:
• Cut back hours to be with the kids? Or keep pushing for that promotion? • Order takeaway again? Or save a little more for retirement? • Take a leap into your dream job? Or stay put and play it safe? Your Path to Prosperity unpacks why these choices are so overwhelming. And why we’re wired to struggle with them. What’s more, the book offers a way forward. It reminds us that money is essential. But the real asset is self-knowledge: understanding your money-mindset, what makes you happy, how you deal with uncertainty, and connect with our future selves. With wit, insight and heart, this is your guide to using money to fund the life you want with the resources you have. Today, tomorrow, and in the decades to come.“Sinopsis” puede pertenecer a otra edición de este título.
