Acerca del autor: Harvard graduate Arthur Gordon Webster (1863–1923) studied physics in Berlin with Hermann von Helmholtz. He taught at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, one of the first American universities to offer a doctoral program in physics, and was founder and President of the American Physical Society.
