An adorable yet self-absorbed miniature dachshund becomes a medical doctor in this heartwarming, hilarious novel.

Solomon wants to be Top Dog. Despite being born the runt of his litter and weighing only nine pounds, he is determined to prove himself to the world. But how? While watching his favourite TV show one day, the answer arrives: become a bona fide MD, the first ever Dog-tor. Maybe then he can help his disabled Mom and gain the respect that a tiny wiener dog deserves.
With the help of his lovable Doxie brother, Oliver; his human sister, Malia; and their very own Clever Collie, Maestro; Solomon navigates life as a doctor with both dogged determination and comical naivety.

Inspired by real events, “Paging Dr. Solomon” is an insightful and surprising comedy about the power of believing in oneself.

INDEPENDENT BOOK REVIEW

“This novel turns a household of pets into a cast of fully realized characters, each with their own
distinct personality, flaws, and comedic timing. At its core, it’s a tale about determination, family
support systems, and identity. The pacing is brisk, the dialogue sparkles, and the comedic narratives
are vivid and cinematic.”
Sublime Book Review

“…the impact that these pets have on the humans in the story illustrate just how powerful a
connection between a pet and their person can be, creating a unique and emotional narrative
readers won’t be able to put down.”
Pacific Book Review

“The dynamic characters shine: Solomon takes no guff, Oliver is adorably scatterbrained,
and Maestro is the levelheaded one. …endlessly entertaining…
There’s certainly room for a sequel, though the novel works fine as a stand-alone.”
