HOW MUCH CAN BE HEARD IN THE SILENCE OF ISOLATION? Welcome to the world of Karl Sibanda, a unique world of feeling, thinking and observation, from the sound of silence from a slumbering spouse to the violent vibes of the Victoria Falls. Welcome to a new world of secret journals and dossiers telling of love and war, from a youth in Rhodesia to Gaia the garden goddess, from a lonesome bark to the perfect peacock and a kiss, stolen from the gods. Do we grow ‘taller not wiser'? Find out in the Ouch in Touch. Every lover has a back to his or her front, so why shouldn't you? Let Karl Sibanda introduce you to yourself as you follow him through his verse, to muse upon who and what we really are, and see the world in which we think we live through a new pair of eyes.

A half student, half teacher of sorts; the author has been embodied by his multicultural identity. Striving to bridge a gap of understanding between those that have felt and those that feel an ever-glancing prospect of our lives, in love. Born to Zimbabwean and Polish parents, in a tumultuous upbringing, Karl found his place in Africa, writing poems for the people he most admired. Never letting this passion subside, he embraced a career in music before fully committing his artistry to the written element.
