Mr. Morlin produced his own work for years living on the streets. In recent years some of his readers have requested that he reprint some of these older works. While he has agreed to do so, he has continued to write, and develop as an author. So, the work includes essays, a short novella, as well as illustrations....
Acerca del autor: Eric "Moebius" Morlin has a Bachelor of Arts in History. Mr. Morlin spent his early years living on the streets, sleeping on rooftops, in parks, couch surfing, and... while it was a vibrant life in many respects it was also... maddening. He spent several decades writing, and just publishing himself. He put his books together late at night, sitting in Kinko's until the early dawn, if not for several days in a row. His work appeared in a few small magazines at first, and while he was glad to seek his prose appear in Storm Constantine's magazine "Visionary Tongue", in 1996. As well as to have her help putting out, "Disenchantments." This was kinda where he was spiritually... Dis enchanted, and close to break down. Almost everyone has seen that crazy guy living on the streets talking about numbers and patterns, but... "Moebius" actually became that guy for a minute living on the streets in New Orleans. Ironically the started on this road into maddness just around the same time he met the Publisher of Dna Publications at the World Horror Convention. So, while he did manage to sell a few poems to Warren, the publisher. (He was published in DNA Publications's periodicals: Absolute Magnitude in 1999 and Mythic Delirum in 2000). It came at a point where Moebius was watching his sanity crumble. In 2001 he discovered his dad got cancer, and always better at helping out other people than he was himself. He went home. His dad died. His mom quilted him, and he recognized that he had lost it toward the end... shh. People and their fragile egos. He stayed in Florida and got his Associates of Arts and then started toward a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology/Microbiology. While Moebius is a smart puppy, in 2008 a long time girl friend was murdered. Instead of taking a break he dug in and by 2010 he was starting to burn out in a bad way... not to mention he really hadn't addressed the whole grieving process... He got car jacked in Atlanta, and eventually moved back to Florida to finish his Bachelors, but he changed his major to history. Which enabled him to graduate in the Spring of 2012. In 2011, he and Warren Lapin (now with Wilder publishing) released Mr. Morlin's book, "Are There Zombies in Heaven". Mr. Morlin has since gotten his Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification and plans to teach overseas, and work on a Master's Degree.
