Charged with running Science Operations for NASA and playing an integral part in one of the world's most successful international astronomy satellite projects, Meylan and Teays share their first-hand experience of how leaders and managers, by example and practice, can establish and reinforce luck-optimizing habits of behaviour with direct reports, peers and team mates, and across the organization. In this in-depth business profile, the authors take an analytical approach to understanding what it takes to truly succeed in business regardless of changing circumstances, competitive interference, near-disastrous breakdowns in processes, and more than the occasional human failing.
