Predominately green and black pictorial paper covers; mottled and slightly frayed green cloth binding tape affixed along spine; slight scuffing at edges; small brown stain at rear cover's bottom center. First unpaged leaf recto has "Certificate of Enrollment United States Civilian Conservation Corps" which has enrollee's name (Lamar M. Crotts), service dates, company, and camp handwritten in ink (as a CCCer at Camp Mayfield, Utah) along with commanding officer's ink inscription; several spots of ink underlining amongst Index (page 1); ink notes identifying three personnel in a photo on page 29; extensive ink notes on pages 40-41 identifying nearly fifty personnel at Roster Company 1486, Perkinston, Mississippi with Lamar M. Crotts of Ellisville, MS listed among nine camp leaders (he has noted his presence in page 41 group photo as well); no other ink markings readily apparent upon a cursory perusal. Minor soiling and foxing to interior but most leaves otherwise remain clean. Staples rusted but binding remains firm. Numerous b/w photographs throughout showing District officers, group camp photos, photomontages of camp members at work and play. Reviews senior command and headquarters personnel followed by 31 camps among four subdistricts comprising District G all within the Gulf Coast region of the Florida panhandle, south Alabama, and south Mississippi.
