Two were sent to save humanity. Mars had other plans.
In 2049, the NovaSeed Initiative selected two people from hundreds of thousands of candidates to build humanity's first permanent settlement on Mars. Carter, a structural engineer from a climate refugee zone, who learned from his father that everything failing has already decided to fail. Alina, a biologist raised in a resettlement zone, who understood that life insists - even in the wrong conditions, even where it has no right to be.
They were not sent because they were the bravest. They were sent because they listened before they built.
On Sol Three, eighty-five centimetres below the surface of the Hellas Planitia basin, they found something that changed what the mission actually was.
The planet was not empty. It never had been.
NovaSeed: Eden Rising is the first full novel in the SOLEN: The Eden Archive series - a four-book, hundred-year saga of the founding of humanity's second civilization, told through dual personal logs, classified mission files, and the uncensored archive of SOLEN, the mission AI who recorded everything Carter and Alina never knew was being watched. The classified transmissions. The decisions made alone at forty million kilometres distance. The variable SOLEN filed under a category it created itself and updated every day for six years.
This is not the official record.
This is the honest one.

His work sits at the intersection of hard science, human psychology, and the question of what we owe to the worlds we build.
The series is narrated in part by SOLEN, the mission AI who recorded everything Carter and Alina never knew was being watched. Book One, NovaSeed: Eden Rising, is available now.
The archive continues.
