Our book is part of an emerging "gift culture" worldview. It is a manual for designing personal community based on the gifts that each person brings. Focusing on non-residential, place based and committed community, we present tools to support and fortify the longing of the human heart for intimate, conscious connection.
Acerca del autor: Bill Kauth conceived and co-founded in 1984, the New Warrior Training Adventure, now presented by The ManKind Project over 60,000 men in 48 centers in 9 countries around the world. In 1992 St. Martin's Press published his book A Circle of Men: The Original Manual for Men's Support Groups. As a social inventor over the last two decades, Bill also co-founded the Spiritual Warrior, Inner King Training and the Warrior-Monk Training Retreat. Zoe Alowan has been actively engaged in sacred art for many decades. As a painter, sculptor, dancer and story-teller, her work explores transformation and healing. Her life is about reclaiming essence wisdom She utilizes the inspiration of the divine feminine, humor, song and ritual movement as ways of celebrating wholeness. She has taught at Esalen and Naropa Institute, facilitates women's groups, singing circles as well as intuitive process painting retreats. Bill and Zoe have been working together, actively learning and teaching the concepts and processes of Gift Community. They are committed to bringing about a healing understanding of the essential feminine and masculine with a focus on building communities of men and women. Together they have delivered over 50 Gift Community seminars around the world.
