Paperback. . Book Description Human beings are different from other life forms in that we have spirits that yearn for companionship. This unyielding need for human beings to connect to each other manifests in different ways, but ultimately, we all gravitate towards other human beings because we simply cannot have meaningful lives in solitude. We attach these meanings of belonging to a common shared entity, and nature is the one constant thing we all share. This book explores the importance of connections between human beings, and the role nature plays to maintain these connections. The book unpacks the role played by the human spirit in our lives and clearly shows the links between spiritual well-being and authenticity in how people relate to others. Further than that, it illustrates how our personal relationships with ourselves are sanctified in nature, making us an extension of the natural environment. The book presents nature as a life form of its own that can replenish and restore the human spirit to allow for a healthy internal relationship with oneself, giving life and healing through its tranquillity and spiritual properties. The main takeaway is that there are practical ways ordinary humans from all walks of life can tap into nature to lead authentic, purposeful lives while maintaining good relationships with themselves, and those around them.
