For Knox Gidden, the twelfth move was supposed to be the family’s last. A final chance to plant roots, heal old wounds, and escape mistakes of the past. But he’s about to learn that some things follow you, no matter how far you run. It begins with a mysterious, pitch-black box that appears without explanation in their new home. Its arrival unleashes a storm of terrifying events, and all eyes fall on Knox, the family’s troubled son. As paranoia poisons their bonds, a far more sinister truth takes hold: THEY ARE NOT ALONE.

DL HAMMONS wrote his first piece of fiction to impress a girl in high school (it was moderately successful), and he’s never looked back. He now lives in Central Arkansas with his best friend (wife of 45 years), where he has published three adult novels (KNIGHT RISE, FALLEN KNIGHT, TWIST) and two YA novels (PRICK, JERK), all Mystery/Suspense. MOVING FEAR is his first foray into supernatural horror.

Even though he's been writing since a young age, DL didn't get serious about publishing his works until 2009. DL pursued a traditional publishing path for numerous years (working with two different literary agents) before finally deciding to self-publish in 2023, and has now published six works. DL resides in Central Arkansas with his wife of 43 years. DL has recently retired and can now devote most of his time to writing more books.
