Modern Technologies for Big Data Classification and Clustering

Data has increased due to the growing use of web applications and communication devices. It is necessary to develop new techniques of managing data in order to ensure adequate usage. B. K. Tripathy is a Senior Professor in SCOPE, VIT University, Vellore, India. He has received fellowships from UGC, DST, SERC and DOE of Govt. of India. He has published more than 320 technical papers and has produced 21 PhDs, 13 MPhils and 2 M.S (By research) under his supervision. Dr. Tripathy has published two text books on Soft Computing and Computer Graphics and has edited two research volumes for IGI publications. He is a life-time/ senior member of IEEE, ACM, IRSS, CSI and IMS. He is an editorial board member/reviewer of more than 60 journals. His research interest includes fuzzy sets and systems, rough sets and knowledge engineering, data clustering, social network analysis, soft computing, granular computing, content based learning, neighbourhood systems, soft set theory and applications, multiset theory, list theory and multi-criteria decision making.

C. Shoba Bindu is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur college of Engineering, Ananthapuramu. She obtained herBachelor degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Master’s in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur. She has published several Research papers in National /International Conferences and Journals. Her research interests are network security.

S Rao Chintalapudi received both Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology from Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College, Odalarevu,affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. Currently, he is working as a full time research scholar in the department of computer science and engineering, University College of Engineering Kakinada (Autonomous), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India. He worked as assistant professor in Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology and CMR Technical Campus in Hyderabad. He is a member of CSI, IEEE and ACM. He has six research papers published in international conferences and peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the board of reviewers in International journal of Rough Sets and Data Analysis (IJRSDA). His research interests are Social Network Analysis, Graph Mining, High Performance Computing, Big Data Analytics and Data Mining.

Ashok Kumar J received the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in mathematics from University of Madras, the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in computer applications from Anna University. He is currently a research scholar in the department of Information Science and Technology, Anna University, Chennai. His research interests include opinion mining, analytics, data mining and machine learning. Manas Kirti is working as Software Development Engineer at Flipkart Internet Private Limited, Bangalore. Previously, he worked as Software Engineer at Samsung Research Institute, Bangalore. He graduated in Computer Science & Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in 2014. His areas of interests include developing Machine Learning models.R. Raja Kumar received his M.Tech in Computer Science from Jawahar Lal Technological University, Kakinada. Currently He is working as Assistant professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department, at RGMCET, Nandyal. Currently he is working for his Ph.d at Jawahar Lal TechnologicalUnviersity, Anantapur. His areas of interest are Pattern Recognition, Data Mining, Machine Learning.

H. M. Krishna Prasad M is currently Full Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University College of Engineering Kakinada (Autonomous), JNTUK, Andhra Pradesh. He did his B.E. from Osmania University, Hyderabad, M.Tech and Ph.D. in data mining from JNTU, Hyderabad. Dr. Munaga successfullycompleted a two year MIUR fellowship (Jan 2007 – Dec 08) at University of Udine, Udine, Italy. He has about 50+ research papers in various International Journals and Conferences, and attended many national and international conferences in India and abroad. He is a member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), ISTE and IAENG (Germany). He is an active member of the board of reviewers in various International Journals and Conferences. His research interests include Data mining, BigData Analytics and High Performance Computing.

Brojo Kishore Mishra obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Berhampur University, India. He is presently working as AssociateProfessor in the Department of Information Technology, C. V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, India. His experience and areas of interest focus on Data / Web / Opinion Mining, Soft Computing, Cloud Computing, E-Learning and Social Network. He has published more than 20 research papers in reputed International journal & conference including IEEE. He is the CSI Regional Student Coordinator, Odisha. (2016-17) and IEEE Day-2015 Ambassador in Kolkata section, India. He is the life member of CSI, ISTE and member of IEEE, IAENG, UACEE professional societies.

Monalisa Mishra completed M.Tech (CS & IS) from KIIT University in the year 2011. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. (Computer Application) in NIT Durgapur. Also, she is continuing as Asst. Professor in CSE Dept of C. V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar.

Sushruta Mishra completed his M.Tech from IIIT, BBSR and now perusing his Ph.D. from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, INDIA. He is very much active in research and development works and has several publications to his credit in reputed Journals and conferences.

Phub Namgay obtained his Master degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from South Asian University, New Delhi, India in the year 2013. He is currently working at Sherubtse College, Royal University of Bhutan, Bhutan. He is the first Bhutanese to receive SAARC-India Silver Jubilee Scholarship, a grant that allows students from South Asian region to study at South Asian University, New Delhi, India. Before joining Royal Thimphu College, he interned for Six months at Rigsum Institute of Information Technology, Thimphu, Bhutan.

Viswanath Pulabaigari received his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, India. He published several papers in reputed International Journals and International Conferences. At present, he is working as a Visiting Professor in theComputer Science and Engineering department at IIIT Chittoor, India. His area of interest includes Pattern Recognition, Data Mining and Algorithms.

Parvathi R is an Associate Professor of School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT University, Chenna since 2011. She received the Doctoral degree in the field of spatial data mining in the same year. Her teaching experience in thearea of computer science includes more than two decades and her research interests include data mining, big data and computational biology.

Abirami S is an Assistant Professor in the department of information science and technology at Anna University, Chennai. She received her ME degree in computer science and engineering, and obtained PhD in the area of document imaging from Anna University. Her research interests include video analytics, text mining, artificial intelligence, programming languages, and Bigdata analytics.

Chitrakala S is an Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her research interests include Data mining, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Web Information Retrieval,Natural Language Processing, Text mining, and Big Data Analytics. Her research contributions have culminated in 130 publications which include 45 International journals and 85 International conferences. She has organized various Conferences, Workshops and seminars. Bangaru Kamatchi Seethapathy completed bachelor degree in Information Technology and Masters in Computer Science, currently pursuing PhD in the areaof Big Data in VIT University Chennai.

Anu Singha obtained his first Masters’ degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from South Asian University, New Delhi, India, in the year 2013, and second Masters’ degree in Computer Science and Engineering (M.Tech) from Tripura University, Agartala, India, in 2015. Currently, he is a PhD scholar at Tripura University, India.

Ravindra Babu Tallamraju is currently working as Principal Data Scientist in Flipkart Internet Private Limited, Bangalore. Previously he worked as Principal Researcher at Infosys Limited and as Scientist at Indian Space Research Organization. His areas of interest include Large data clustering and classification, evolutionaryalgorithms, image processing and data mining.

Hrudaya Kumar Tripathy is presently working as Associate Professor at School of Computer Engineering, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Having 16 years of teaching experience with 6 years of post-doctorate research experience inthe field of Soft Computing, Machine Learning, Speech Processing, Mobile Robotics and Big Data Analysis. Invited as visiting faculty to Asia Pacific University (APU), Kuala Lumpur, Malyasia and University Utara Malaysia (UUM), Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia. Worked as Center Head in APTECH Ltd., Bhubaneswar for 3 years. Appointed as Centre Coordinator by IGNOU, New Delhi for study centre at IACR, Rayagada. Published around 60 No.(s) of research papers in reputed international referred journals & IEEE conferences. Technical reviewer and member of technical committee of many International conferences. Awarded as Young IT professional award 2013 on regional level from Computer Society of India (CSI). Received many certificates of merits and highly applauded in presentation of research papers at International conferences of different Asian countries (Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia). She received her BE degree in computer science and engineering from University of Madras, and ME degree in computer science and engineering from Anna University. Her research interests include Data analytics, soft computing, artificial intelligence,and Cloud computing.

Vignesh Umapathy received his Bachelor of Technology degree from the department of Information Technology at Anna University, Chennai in 2010. He receivedhis Master of Technology degree from the Department of Information Technology from same university in 2012. After receiving his education, he worked as Assistant Professor at Mookambigai College of Engineering for 3 years. He is currently a PhD student in the field of biological data analysis in School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT University, Chennai. He has co-authored over 15 refereed articles in journals and conference proceedings. His research interests are in the area of big data, data mining and bioinformatics.
