If you've ever felt intimidated or confused by reading guitar music, this is the book you've been waiting for.
For too long, self-taught players have been told that note reading is "too hard" or "not necessary." This can leave you feeling stuck, unable to understand the full potential of the fretboard. You don’t feel like a “real” guitar player, because you suspect what's true: reading music is the one skill that most serious guitarists know, and your fear of it is holding you back.
The Missing Method for Guitar: Note Reading Book 1 puts an end to that fear. This book focuses solely on note reading, making it the perfect guide for any guitarist—from total beginner to advanced player—who wants to fill this critical gap in their knowledge. It is the first step in a complete, 5-book system designed to take you from the first fret to total command of the fretboard.
Designed by a professional educator with a 20-year teaching career, this easy, step-by-step approach guides you from the absolute basics to reading every note in the first position (frets 0-4).
With This Book, You Will:
- Master the basics of sight-reading and music theory.
- Learn to read and play standard notation in every key.
- Develop your skills with hundreds of practice songs and exercises.
- Understand the crucial difference between beat and rhythm.
- Train your ear with free streaming audio for every example, so you can hear if you're playing it correctly.
This isn't just a method book; it's a focused, guided system that gives you plenty to practice without feeling overwhelmed.
Stop feeling intimidated and start reading guitar music with confidence. Begin your journey to true musical literacy today.
