A significant crack at the guttering towards the rear of the book. An ex-libris plate on the front pastedown. Annotations on the front endpapers and title page, the title page mentioning that the previous owner has been to Ceylon. The textblock is very typical for it's age, with a notable tan and a few signs of foxing and aged marks. The text remains legible and crisp and the contents are clean.
