The Special Air Service was the brainchild of Scots Guards' officer Lieutenant David Stirling, serving with No. 8 Commando. He advocated a specially organized, specially equipped, and specially trained unit dedicated to the unrelenting pursuit of excellence that could act covertly and operate behind enemy lines to gain intelligence, destroy enemy aircraft, and attack their supply and reinforcement routes. The First SAS Regiment was officially designated after successful raids against enemy airfields in the Middle East in 1941-1942. In May 1943, a Second SAS Regiment was raised in Algeria and would also serve in Sicily and Italy. SAS troopers were at the forefront of the action on D-Day, serving behind the enemy lines, assisting the French Resistance in diversionary attacks and in support of Allied armies. The SAS served with great distinction through forty-two significant actions in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany until the end of the war in Europe. This new addition to the bestselling Conway pocket-book series is compiled from wartime and post-war memorandums, manuals, and documents. They include unit after-action reports and lecture notes from the centers used to train special services soldiers, gathered from the Liddell Hart Military Archive, National Archives, wartime periodicals, and post-war memoirs. The book covers: - training methods - weapons handling - fieldcraft - sabotage training> - operations in North Africa and the Middle East (1941-1942), Sicily and Italy (1943), and France (1944-1945).…

They left a legacy for humankind that we can all benefit from. We also cover the purpose of meditation: why man needs it, why it is so appealing to spiritually mature people, and its relationship with the soul.
Unlike other practices of meditation that deal with the mind only (mantra), or with the body only (yoga), or with emotions only (bhakti) - often leading to discrepancies that must be adjusted through rituals and beliefs - the practice of meditation presented here encompasses all these dimensions in one harmonious unit.
You will discover that a human being is composed of all the dimensions of nature. A human being is a microcosm, and therefore meditation is complete only when one becomes aware of these dimensions, not just of their body and mind. This meditation is inherently complete and does not require any support in the form of ideological or religious preconceptions.
The purpose of meditation relates to the meaning of human existence and consciousness of the soul; what we were before birth in this body and what we will become after death. Meditation is about our connection with consciousness of the soul, the divine consciousness within us that enables everything, including all of nature.
In order to understand this connection between the mind and the divine consciousness of our soul, we discuss here how the spiritual sense of meditation is connected to the latest scientific discoveries regarding the essence of nature.
You will learn how consciousness of the soul is related to the quantum field and the physics of ether - the same physics that Nikola Tesla used in order to create the base of all modern technology.
You will discover non-Hertzian frequencies and how they relate to thoughts and the creative effect thoughts have on matter. Consequently, you will be intrigued to learn that special powers (siddhi) are actually the effect of non-Hertzian frequencies from the quantum mind’s awareness acting on our physical, Hertzian frequencies.
You will see all evidence pointing to the fact that consciousness is not in the body. Our body only uses the divine consciousness, which is the essence of nature itself. Our brain does not produce consciousness; it merely slows down the current divine consciousness that enables everything, enough to become our reality by taking on the appearance of matter separated in space and time.
You will discover how meditation helps one become aware of higher dimensions through out-of-body experiences and dreams, and how these experiences relate to empathy, which promotes emotional maturity and bonds one with the unity of the divine consciousness here in reality.
In short, this book makes a connection between ancient spiritual knowledge and the latest scientific discoveries. This manual on how to apply such wisdom and knowledge to oneself instills a sense of purpose through realization of one’s true existence.
