Paperback. They weren't always jolly green sprites peddling breakfast cereal to children. Once upon a time, leprechauns-real leprechauns-ruled the world. And as it turns out, Don Eskubusie should know that better than anyone. An Irish-American with a traumatic past, he grew up to discover a stunning secret in his family tree. Thanks to his mother's side of the family, Don is half-leprechaun, in a time when they are mostly extinct and considered incredibly rare. But what happened to the days when his ancestors roamed the emerald hills of Ireland along with the fairies and elves? And will donning a mysterious mask, a relic from the past, give Don new insights into the history of the leprechaun world? The Masked Figure reveals the true nature of this powerful artifact, as one man comes to terms with his unique heritage-and discovers deeply hidden secrets about a dark and mysterious realm. Combining elements of science fiction, romance, and the paranormal, this imaginative fantasy introduces readers to the story of the man behind the mask, as well as the history and lore of the leprechaun people, in the first installment of a magical and captivating new series.
