This book brings together eight contributions on the relationships between cartography and border disputes, using map history to frame the construction of nation-states and colonial territories in the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa and Latin America from the 18th to the 20th century. Written by scholars from Spain, France, Portugal, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, the essay is divided into two main parts. Part I (Chapters 2 to 5) focuses on the use and contribution of maps to the processes of negotiation and boundary fixation on disputed borders, both in diplomatic forums and in the materialisation of the border on the ground, whereas Part II (Chapters 6 to 8) delves into the circulation of maps used by boundary commissions, as well as into how the political purposes of cartography and the audiences to whom maps were addressed and communicated conditioned the very representation of borders. In addition to these Parts, the introductory chapter provides an overview of recent scholarship about the links between maps and border disputes, both at a general level and in the countries and regions specifically considered in this volume. El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).

El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
