The rural work experience is basic for developing a graduate's competence in functioning as an effective teacher/researcher/extension professional' in the transfer of technology to farmers and therefore, this type of practical training and experience of working with farmers in villages becomes inevitable: Recently it is being realized that job opportunities are tilting in favor of self employment and private 'sector. This has necessitated enhanced skill and self-reliance, to satisfy the needs of user agencies.
