Paperback. What does a man become when every identity he trusted is taken away, except the one he finds before the Father?Robert Leary spent decades building a life that looked successful from the outside. He became a husband, a father, a leader, and a senior executive trusted with enormous responsibility. He built companies, traveled the world, raised children, and learned how to solve problems that seemed impossible. But there was one problem he could not solve: himself.Behind the success was a man carrying wounds he had never learned to face. Pride became armor. Control became survival. Work became identity. Alcohol became escape. And slowly, the life he had spent decades building began to collapse. The Man at Sunrise is not a story about a perfect man who found his way back. It is the story of a man who nearly lost everything before he finally became willing to look honestly at what he had done, who he had hurt, and who he had become.Robert takes the reader through childhood, family, love, fatherhood, ambition, addiction, loss, failure, and the devastating consequences of choices made over a lifetime. He does not ask the reader to excuse him. He does not try to make the past prettier than it was.He tells the truth. At the center of the story is a simple realization: recovery is not one dramatic decision. It is what happens when a person begins doing the small things differently every day. It is accountability when nobody is watching. It is learning that promises mean nothing without action. It is understanding that you cannot rescue everyone, control everyone, or fix everything. And sometimes, the hardest person you have to forgive is yourself. From the darkest moments of his life to the first light of a new beginning, Robert discovers that losing the identities he once depended upon may have been the very thing that gave him a chance to find out who he really was.The Man at Sunrise is raw, uncomfortable, spiritual, and ultimately hopeful. It is not a book about becoming the man everyone wanted you to be.It is about becoming the man you were supposed to be.And sometimes, you have to walk through the darkness before you can finally see the sunrise. After a life of high-stakes achievement collapses into addiction and a near-fatal crisis, a man must strip away his false identities to face the raw truth of who he is and find redemption in the wreckage.
