Its purpose was to make recreational flying more affordable. It follows extraordinary new Congressional actions that have led to enormous changes to the BasicMed program, to Sport Pilot privileges, and to the completely new definition of Light Sport Aircraft (LSA). And it still includes the new part dedicated to Drone Rules for hobbyists and professional flyers. It describes when pilot testing is required. Drone flyers, including not only hobbyists, but also professional and commercial pilots, will learn how to register a drone. And it describes how to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate for those who fly drones for pay or as part of their business. It also explains the new requirement to have a Remote Identification Ability System that signals other aircraft about a drone's location and altitude. The new Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification initiative, known as MOSAIC, completely redefined three major aviation activities, including Sport Pilot Privileges, airworthiness standards for Light Sport Aircraft, and qualifications for BasicMed aircraft. No more weight restrictions. Now, all classes and categories of aircraft are available to all pilots, and Light Sport Aircraft includes everything from airplanes to blimps, and from helicopters to powered-lift airplanes. So, Sport Pilots may be qualified to fly all types of LSAs with proper training. And not only LSA and Sport Pilot are changed. The list of authorized aircraft available to pilots who choose the BasicMed program for medical qualification may fly aircraft weighing up to 12,500 pounds and having seven seats. It is available to all pilots who choose a checkup by a personal physician, an online medical education course, and a valid driver license. In addition, this volume still describes the variety of all pilot corticates and airplane groups that are available to the average hobbyist. Efectos del desistimiento

Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
