Acerca del autor
Karthik Ramasubramanian has over seven years’ experience leading data science and business analytics in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, information technology and hospitality for multi-national companies and unicorn startups. A researcher and problem solver with a diverse set of experience in the data science life cycle, starting from a data problem discovery to creating data science PoCs and products for various industry use cases. In his leadership roles, he has been instrumental in solving many ROI-driven business problems through data science solutions. He has mentored and trained hundreds of professionals and students around the world through various online platforms and university engagement programs in data science.
He has designed, developed and spearheaded many A/B experiment frameworks for improving product features, conceptualized funnel analysis for understanding user interactions and identifying the friction points within a product, and designed statistically robust metrics. On the predictive side, he has developed intelligent chatbots based on deep learning models which understands human-like interactions, customer segmentation models, recommendation systems and many natural language processing models.
His current areas of interest include ROI-driven data product development, advanced machine learning algorithms, data product frameworks, Internet of Things (IoT), scalable data platforms, and model deployment frameworks.
Karthik completed his M.Sc. (Theoretical Computer Science) from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore (Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai), where he pioneered the application of machine learning, data mining and fuzzy logic in his research work on computer and network security.
Abhishek Singh is on a mission to profess the de facto language of this millennium, the numbers. He is on a journey to bring machine closer to human, for a better and beautiful world around us by generating opportunities with artificial intelligence and machine learning. He leads team of data science professionals who are solving pressing problems in food security, cyber security, natural disaster, healthcare and many more areas, all with help of data and technology. Abhishek is in the process of bringing smart IoT devices to smaller cities in India for people to leverage technology to improve their lives.He has worked with colleagues from many parts of the USA, Europe and Asia, and strives to work with more people from various backgrounds. In a span of six years at big corporates, he has stress tested the assets of US banks, solved insurance pricing models, and made the telecom experience easier for customers, and is now creating data science opportunities with his team of young minds.
He actively participates in analytics-related thought leadership, writing, public speaking, meet-ups and training in data science. He is staunch supporter of responsible use of AI toremove biases and fair use for a better society.
Abhishek completed his MBA from IIM Bangalore, B.Tech. (Mathematics and Computing) from IIT Guwahati, and PG Diploma (Cyber Law) from NALSAR University, Hyderabad.

Derecho al desistimiento
Si es un consumidor, puede rescindir el contrato de acuerdo con lo siguiente. Por consumidor se entiende cualquier persona física que actúe con fines ajenos a su actividad comercial, empresarial, oficio o profesión.
Información sobre el derecho de desistimiento
Derecho legal de desistimiento
Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
