Illustrated with 2pp. colour frontispiece of types of wood plus 850 b/w wood engravings within the text. Large Workshop Sheets mentioned on title page do not appear to have ever been bound-in. Old ink name and address and modern bookplate to front pastedown. Small newspaper clipping pasted to verso of half title. Occasional light foxing, mainly to prelims and foredge. Front inner hinge slightly slack but binding generally nice and firm. Some light fading and wear to top and base of spine with small areas of loss. Lower board lightly soiled. Overall a Good+ Copy.
