Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book focuses on the tribology of marine sliding bearings. It extensively investigates the lubrication characteristics of two special forms of marine sliding bearings including journal-thrust coupled bearings for diesel engine crankshafts and double-layer oil film floating bushings for diesel engine fuel supply mechanisms. Building upon conventional theories of lubrication in sliding bearings, the book considers the unique operational conditions and structural features of these bearings. It creatively proposes respective lubrication mechanisms for each type of bearing, which are then experimentally validated.Furthermore, the book conducts comprehensive analyses of the lubrication performance of these bearings. The book is intended for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in tribology and lubrication technology, researchers investigating lubrication model, and structure design engineers working on marine bearing.
