Descripción del artículo del vendedor

Paperback. For the Christian the ultimate textbook is the Bible, many chose to "dilute" it. While the various branches of Christendom differ radically in many respects they will all defer to and place their appeal ultimately to the Bible. The standard for Christendom will always be the Bible for in the Kingdom of God, the Bible is not just a manual for religion, it is greater, for it serves as the Constitutional Charter for the Kingdom. The Bible serves as the foundation that upholds and defines the Kingdom of God, the Bible is more than a textbook for students; it is a legal and spiritual framework for citizens.- It Defines Citizenship: It outlines who belongs to the Kingdom and the nature of their "new birth."- It Establishes the Law: It defines the "Law of Love" and the ethical standards that govern the King's subjects.- It Outlines the King's Character: It ensures the subjects know the nature of the Sovereign they serve.By "upholding" the Kingdom, the Bible prevents the faith from dissolving into cultural trends.Without a fixed definition of the Kingdom, "the Kingdom of God" could be twisted to mean anything from a political party to a vague feeling of "niceness." The text keeps the boundaries firm: the Kingdom is where the will of God is done as it is in heaven. The Bible is the foundation that upholds the Kingdom, it presents the Word of God not just as a collection of stories, but as a binding, authoritative record where: - Command and Execution meet: "My mouth it hath commanded."- Verification is required: "Seek ye out. and read."- Consistency is guaranteed: "No one of these shall fail."It frames the Bible as a living document of the King's will that the subjects can and must consult to see the reality of His reign in action. The Bible is not "suggested reading," it is a Binding Legal Record. Isa 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. The phrase "none shall want her mate" is a particularly striking one when applied to the Christian profession. In biblical interpretation, this often suggests that: -Prophecy meets Fulfilment: For every promise (the "female"), there is a corresponding historical reality or fulfilment (the "mate").Consistency: The textbook is internally consistent; it doesn't contradict itself because the same "Mouth" (the King) commanded it all.The Book of the Lord challenges the reader to "Seek ye out. and read" for themselves, bypassing the middleman to find the raw command of the Sovereign.Virtually every profession like Law or Medicine has textbooks that are updated and replaced, yet the "Book of the Lord" claims a unique status: it never fails and never needs a "new edition" to remain the final authority.Consequently, without the Bible, the Book that claims to reveal Christ, we would actually know practically nothing of Him.But Who is Jesus and what did He teach? These questions would remain forever unanswered apart from the Scriptures and so it is that the Scriptures draw us if we want to embark on the greatest of all quests, that of getting to know God, His character, and His ways.At the outset questions are sure to be asked. How can we know the Bible is trustworthy? Is it a worthy revelation of God? Can we accept it as being truth? The Bible makes these grand claims for itself declaring that "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God" (literally God-breathed) and that one of its titles is "The Word of God".Thus, although the written Word came through human channels, it still makes the stupendous claim that regardless of the writer, it originated from God Himself.Scripture is the revelation of God's mind and His purpose Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
